Today, Al Ain Equestrian Club hosts the eighth race of the season with 117 horses competing for prize money totaling AED 615,000, including the first round of the Al Ain Marathon.

Today, the Shata Ayna club for equestrian sports and archery begins its eighth race of the season, consisting of eight stages for purebred Arab horses, including the first stage of the series "Ayna Marathon" with the participation of 117 horses, with a total prize fund of 615,000 dirhams.

15 horses older than 5 years will compete in the main eighth stage of the first round of the "Ayna Marathon" series at a distance of 3200 meters, with a prize fund of 110,000 dirhams.

The first stage will take place at a distance of 2000 meters with a prize fund of 70,000 dirhams and the participation of 15 novice Arab horses. The second stage at 1800 meters offers a prize fund of 70,000 dirhams and features 15 novice horses from the UAE.

The third stage at 1800 meters, with a prize fund of 70,000 dirhams, includes 13 Arabian horses from the UAE, while in the fourth stage at a distance of 1600 meters with a prize fund of 70,000 dirhams, 15 novice horses will participate.

The fifth stage starts with the participation of 15 purebred Arab horses at 1600 meters, with a prize fund of 70,000 dirhams, while the sixth stage at the same distance and with the same prize fund will also involve 15 Arabian horses.

The seventh stage at a distance of 1400 meters entails the participation of 14 purebred Arabian horses with a prize fund of 70,000 dirhams.

The general director of the Shata Ayna club for equestrian sports and archery, Mohammed Rashid an-Nasiri, confirmed that the club has decided to increase the monetary prizes in today’s race to stimulate interest in the various categories of spectators to follow the different club events taking place throughout the season.

An-Nasiri explained that all necessary preparations for the race have been completed, and measures have been taken to ensure its success and outstanding quality, with the involvement of various committees at all levels to meet expectations.
